The development of light weight portable oxygen cylinders has helped to significantly improve patient care within the community.  LifeLine is now an essential piece of kit in hundreds of GP surgeries, dentists, first responders and leisure groups throughout the UK.

The LifeLine Pro is designed for use by first aid trained personnel to provide a supplementary supply of medical oxygen at flow rates up to 15 litres per minute.  The CPR facemask provided not only eliminates direct contact with the casualty but linked to its oxygen supply can provide significantly higher oxygen concentrations than conventional mouth to mouth resuscitation.  For situations where a casualty who is still breathing and requires oxygen, an adult non re-breathing mask is provided as part of this package. 

Many additional items can be supplied with the LifeLine kit to tailor the product to your specific requirements. Items such as airways and bag-valve-masks are available to those trained in advanced resuscitation techniques.  On an annual basis, a BOC representative inspects the oxygen cylinder that forms part of the LifeLine Pro package. This ensures that the cylinder is in good working order and a work report is provided to the customer. The work report shows that the cylinder inspection has taken place and provides a record as an audit trail.

The LifeLine Service Offer

The LifeLine Pro kit is supplied on an annual contract so there is just one annual service charge.  The oxygen cylinder which forms part of the LifeLine package is a lightweight cylinder with integral regulator and is inspected by a BOC representative on an annual basis. This ensures that it is in good working order. A work report is provided to the customers to show that this inspection has taken place and provides a record for an audit trail.

BOC Medical has a dedicated team who provide a next working day refill service (in most areas) in the event that the cylinder has been used (this is chargeable).
